About Workflow Weekly
You manage people you mostly see as small rectangles. Workflow Weekly is for you.
We publish practical notes on running distributed teams: how to write things down so fewer meetings are needed, how to onboard someone you have never met in person, which policies are worth having and how to set up a desk you can sit at for eight hours without regretting it.
What a typical piece looks like
A problem, a short explanation of why it happens, and then something you can copy: a template, a checklist or a handful of rules. If a piece ends without something you can use on Monday, we have not finished it.
Who reads us
Team leads, operations and people managers at remote or hybrid companies, and anyone working remotely who wants their week to feel a little less chaotic.
What we leave out
Remote job listings, “ten tips for productivity” lists and anything that treats a bean bag as a workplace strategy.
Paying the bills
The site is supported by advertising and clearly labelled sponsored pieces. Sponsors don’t decide what we cover. Our editorial policy has the details.
